Dr. Kellen Robertson – Optometric Physician

Dr. Robertson began his journey into the Field of Optometry as a Chemistry Major, graduating from the University of Idaho, where he was noted as a member of the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, Pre-Med Club and Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Dr. Robertson then went on to receive his Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, where he graduated with honors. During his time at Pacific University, he continued to strengthen his connections and distinguish himself in the following organizations: BSK International Optometric Honor Society, Sports Vision Club and Private Practice Management Club (PPMG). Dr. Robertson advanced his optometric career as an Ocular Disease Teaching Assistant and Optician at Pacific University, as well as an Optometric Intern with Spokane VAMC, the US Air Force Academy and Eye Care Associates of Nevada.

Dr. Robertson was honored with the 2016 Award of Excellence in Contact Lens Patient Care from the American Optometric Foundation (AOF). His current primary Optometric affiliations include: Idaho Optometric Physicians (IOP), Optometric Physician of Washington (OPW), and American Optometric Association (AOA).

Dr. Robertson believes in giving back and has volunteered his time and skills with individuals and the local community. Some of his volunteer work includes: Day of Sight, with the Lions Club International and the Special Olympics Opening Eyes Vision Screening. He is also a writer for NewGradOptometry.com, fulfilling their Mission Statement: To provide newly graduate optometrists with the resources they need to be successful in practice and in life.

At leisure, Dr. Robertson, recently wed to his beautiful wife Leah, enjoys the outdoors, including hiking, camping and flyfishing. He is also athletic and a sports enthusiast, both watching and playing basketball, football, golf, baseball, tennis, racquetball and horseshoes. Having been born in Fort Collins, Colorado, he became and still is a huge Denver Broncos fan, which is his all time favorite NFL team. In addition to his adventurous nature, he is also notably intellectual and pursues ongoing personal education, continually exposing himself to new advances. He is currently interested in learning more about the financial world of stocks and investments, and routinely enjoys reading about breakthroughs in medical technology.

Dr. Robertson has settled in the Spokane area of Washington, while his parents and two brothers reside in Moscow, ID.
